Booking an Appointment

We provide a range of appointments with our Clinical Team in our Practice.

GP appointments can be booked in advance, or on the day by calling at 8.00am. Our admin team are trained in signposting patients to the correct service to ensure you see the most appropriate clinician.  This may be a Clinical Pharmacist, Advance Nurse Practitioner, a Physician Associate, a community pharmacist or one of the nursing team.  All these pathways have been approved by the GPs and we would encourage patients to use these services so that it gives GP more appointments to see the patients that they need to see.

GP Appointments are 10 minutes slots, if you have more than one issue to discuss and require more time, please let the receptionist know when you are making your appointment so we can extend your slot if we have space to allow this on the day.

Appointments can be face to face or over the telephone (if appropriate).

Please do not come to the surgery to make on the day appointments – these can only be booked over the phone.

To help the GP practices in the area there are limited number of appointments we can book at other sites when we are full or on a Saturday. The services can access your notes and ensure that they are updated. You may be offered an appointment with a community pharmacist, or directed to NHS 111 or A&E depending on the issue.

You may receive an invitation for routine reviews, medicine reviews, cervical screening and other heath checks, please use the online booking facility or call to book these in.

For advanced appointments with a GP, you can call us or book over the desk in the surgery.

Cancelling an Appointment

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we may give this appointment to another patient who may need it.

You can cancel your appointment by calling the practice on 0116 241 6392.

Home Visits

If you require a home visit please contact the surgery on 0116 241 6392 before 12:00. We do not accept visit requests by email.

Our GPs will visit patients at home who are housebound or when their illness makes travelling impossible. If you are not a housebound patient, we will not be able to offer you a home visit.
